What HR software should cost in Hisar

For a Hisar firm of 10 to 60 people, Offrd costs Rs 99 per document with no monthly fee, or Rs 50 per employee per month with everything included. Compare that with a consultant charging Rs 500 to Rs 2,000 per letter, and payroll evenings lost to a spreadsheet. Offer letters, payslips with EPF and ESI calculated, attendance app, settlements. 50 free credits when you sign up.

Hisar counts every rupee twice. Steel and textiles on one side, one of north India's bigger mandis on the other, and family firms in between. So this page is just the ledger, costed the way a Hisar owner would cost it.

Manual HR versus Offrd: the yearly ledger

Costs for a typical 25 person Hisar firm, per year
By hand or by consultantOn Offrd
Four hires a year. Each needs an offer, an appointment letter and a joining file. From a consultant at Rs 500 to Rs 2,000 a letter, that is Rs 4,000 to Rs 16,000, plus days of waiting. The same dozen documents at Rs 99 each. About Rs 1,200, generated the day you decide. The 50 free credits may absorb most of the first year.
Twelve payroll evenings in a spreadsheet someone left behind. One wrong EPF cell sits unnoticed for months, then surfaces as a penalty. Payslips calculate EPF at the Rs 15,000 ceiling and ESI at the Rs 21,000 gross ceiling on their own. The rules live in the software, not in cell C14.
An attendance register at the counter, filled from memory on busy days. Useless for the godown and the delivery van. QR check in at the shop, GPS for the van. One sheet, feeding payroll. Atndnz comes free with a paying account.
Increment promises made at Diwali, remembered differently by both sides in March. Increment letters in a batch. What was promised is what got printed.
Exits settled by argument at the door. No record of how the figure was reached. Full and final calculated from the payslip's own salary heads, gratuity included where earned, with a reference ID on the letter.

The column nobody prices is owner time. Every hour spent drafting letters is an hour not spent on stock, credit and customers.

Rs 99 per document or Rs 50 per employee: which one?

Simple break even. Below about 30 documents a month, pay per document is cheaper, and that covers most Hisar firms most of the year. Once payslips run monthly for the whole staff, the subscription wins: a 25 person firm pays Rs 1,250 a month and the attendance app rides along free. No setup fee, no annual contract, no notice period on the per document plan. Start on documents, shift to subscription when payroll shifts in. The arithmetic stays visible the whole way.

One thing you will never pay in Haryana: professional tax. The state does not levy it. The Labour Welfare Fund does apply, Rs 35 from the employee and Rs 70 from the employer monthly since January 2026, deposited by your CA. State rules and the other city pages are on the Haryana hub.

What do Hisar firms actually use in it?

Five things, mostly. Letters, from offer to exit. Monthly payslips. Attendance across shop, godown and vehicles. Leave, applied in the app and approved by one manager from email. And once a year, a policy from the guided builder plus Form 16 for each employee, generated from the TRACES Part A and the locked declarations. When a vacancy pulls in thirty applications, the Pre-Hire screen ranks them so you interview three people, not thirty. No training needed beyond a phone and a browser. Over 4,000 Indian companies run on it, and the national HR software overview covers the rest.

What Hisar owners ask before buying

What does Rs 50 per employee per month actually include?

Payslips, letters, onboarding, leave, the policy builder and the Atndnz attendance app, all in the base price. There are no per module add ons to discover later.

Do I have to buy the attendance app separately?

No. Atndnz is free with a paying Offrd account. Used on its own without Offrd it costs Rs 9 per employee per month in India.

My accountant worries this replaces him. Does it?

No. Deposits, filings and advice stay his. What disappears is the part he likes least: rebuilding payroll arithmetic from a register and chasing missing figures at month end.

Can I stop whenever I want?

On pay per document there is nothing to cancel, you simply stop generating. Every document already issued is a PDF in your own hands.

We have one office and three godowns. Is that one account?

One account. Each location gets its own QR code, field and vehicle staff use GPS check in, and every check in lands in the same attendance sheet.
