What gets deducted from salary in Gurgaon?
Less than in Mumbai or Bengaluru, because Haryana has no professional tax. A Gurgaon payslip carries EPF at 12% from employer and 12% from employee on wages up to Rs 15,000, ESI at 3.25% and 0.75% where gross pay is up to Rs 21,000, and Labour Welfare Fund of Rs 35 from the employee and Rs 70 from the employer per month, the rate since 1 January 2026.
