HR and payroll software for travel agencies and tour operators

Offrd costs ₹50 per active employee per month, with no minimum headcount. Office staff mark attendance by QR, tour managers who are away with a group check in remotely from wherever they are, and everyone stays on one employee record. A tour operator with 20 employees, 6 of them on the road, pays ₹1,000 a month.

Why is attendance hard when half the team is on tour?

A tour manager leaves with a group and may be gone for days. The office register shows a ragged gap that somebody has to explain at month end.

Travel agencies also have people who never leave the desk, in ticketing, visa and documentation, and accounts. They need a plain shift and a payslip.

Some travel businesses hire extra people for their busy months, and the paperwork turns into a muddle. A letter that takes an hour to draft is a nuisance when six people join in a week.

How do tour managers mark attendance while they are travelling?

A tour manager can check in remotely from any location, and field staff such as airport or station pickups check in by GPS within a 500 metre radius. The location is recorded with the check in. Office staff scan the QR code at the entrance.

Each office is a site with a name, a code, a location and a geofence radius. Named shifts carry a start time, an end time and a grace period, and live status gives a plain view of who is working, on a break or not working.

Which letters and records does a travel business need for its staff?

Under the Labour Codes in force from 21 November 2025, every employee must get a written appointment letter. That includes the extra staff taken on for a busy season.

Offer letters, onboarding, probation, increment, experience and relieving letters come from one generator, which beats a hodgepodge of Word files. The salary structure balances against total CTC, and the PIN code of the office fixes the state for professional tax.

Onboarding verifies Aadhaar and PAN in real time, and letters go out for e signature, which saves a slog when six people join in a week. Offrd tracks probation confirmation dates and generates the letter when it falls due.

Fixed term employees qualify for gratuity after one year of service under the Labour Codes. Settlement for a leaver is a separate module with its own reference number, 19 standard deduction heads and 13 exit payout heads.

The statutory part is calculated inside payroll and not submitted anywhere. Provident fund is 12 percent from the employer and 12 percent from the employee on the ₹25,000 wage ceiling, and ESI is 3.25 percent from the employer and 0.75 percent from the employee for as long as gross pay stays under ₹21,000. Professional tax comes from the state that the office PIN code resolves to. Gratuity is wages times 15, times years of service, divided by 26. Filing returns is not part of it. The EPFO ECR and the TRACES 24Q stay with your CA, who receives the payroll in EPF return format.

What does Offrd not do for a travel agency?

Bookings, ticketing, itineraries, visa applications and supplier accounts are not in Offrd. Tour advances and expense claims are also outside it, because expense management is not part of Offrd.

Performance reviews, OKRs, 360 feedback, expense claims, a helpdesk and an asset register are also absent. On the hiring side, Pre-Hire screens resumes before the interview, ranks them and suggests interview questions. The interview and the hiring decision stay with you.

Offrd also calculates statutory amounts and does not file them. If your main need is returns that file themselves, better to hear that now than after signup.
