Run faculty HR without slowing down the next batch.

Coaching centers, test prep institutes, and skill development centers in India use Offrd to issue tutor appointment letters, mark session wise attendance, and run payslips with per session and fixed components from one login.

50 free credits on signup. No credit card. 4,000+ Indian companies on Offrd.

Five situations every center director will recognize.

Each one ends in a printed letter, a settled payslip, or a clean handover at the end of a season.

01

A senior tutor wants the appointment letter today, before he tells his current institute.

Pick the tutor template, fill subject, batch, salary structure, and start date, and email the letter the same afternoon. The candidate signs before the competing institute counters.

02

A guest faculty member crosses the PF earnings threshold mid year.

Issue a fixed term appointment letter with engagement details, sessions per week, and rate. Keeps the engagement on record without forcing a full time conversion. Holds up if a labour query comes in.

03

A tutor disputes his per session pay because two sessions were not counted.

Pull up the session attendance from Atndnz. Match it against the payroll calculation. Either correct the count or explain it from the same screen. The conversation ends in one sitting.

04

A franchisor audit asks for tutor records across all six branches.

Filter by branch and date range, export appointment letters and payslips, hand over the file. No collecting paper from each center, no chasing the local manager for the missing month.

05

The IIT-JEE batch ends and four tutors are leaving for full time roles elsewhere.

Generate experience and relieving letters from the employee record. Tenure, designation, last working day all flow through. Hand them over before the goodbye photo.

Where coaching center HR tends to break down.

Most coaching centers in India started with one or two tutors and grew organically. The HR processes grew informally alongside the business. Offer letters were verbal or sent as informal emails, payslips were handwritten or generated in Excel, and attendance was marked in paper registers that nobody could find during audits.

Guest faculty who teach two or three sessions a week present a specific problem. They are employees for statutory purposes if they earn above the PF threshold of Rs.15,000, but they rarely receive proper appointment letters. When a dispute arises over a missed payment or a session count, there is no documentation to refer to.

Multi branch institutes face a version of this at scale. Each branch accumulates its own records in its own format. Consolidating faculty data, attendance histories, and payslip records across five or six centers when a franchisor audit comes around is a significant exercise. Keeping it centralized from day one is considerably easier.

Test prep institutes also deal with high tutor churn around major exam cycles. IIT-JEE and NEET coaching centers see faculty movement spike after each season. Experience letters that take two minutes prevent backlogs and keep departures clean.

Pricing is straightforward. Rs.99 per document on the pay per use plan, or Rs.50 per active employee per month on the subscription. Seasonal institutes use pay per use during intake months and switch to subscription when batch cycles stabilize.

Common questions from center directors and franchise owners.

Can I create different letter formats for full time and per session faculty?

Yes. Offrd supports multiple letter types including fixed term, per session contract, and permanent appointment letters. Pick the right format at the time of issue.

How does per session pay appear on the payslip?

Add the per session component manually in the payroll section for that month. It appears as a separate line item alongside the fixed component, with a label you can set.

We have 6 branches. Can all of them be managed under one login?

Yes. Add all your branches and keep attendance, letters, and records organized by center under one account. The owner sees all centers, branch managers see their own.

Do guest faculty need formal appointment letters?

Under the Code on Wages 2019, effective 21 November 2025, written appointment letters are required for all workers including contract and part time staff. A brief letter specifying engagement terms, session count, and rate is sufficient. Confirm specifics with your HR consultant.

Can we use Offrd for franchise or affiliated centers?

Yes. Each branch or affiliated center can be added as a separate unit under the same Offrd account. The franchisor sees all units, the local manager sees only theirs.

What does it cost?

Rs.99 per document on pay per use, or Rs.50 per active employee per month on the subscription. New accounts get 50 free credits. Full pricing.
