What does hiring look like on Offrd?
You create the job on Pre-Hire, Offrd's recruitment pipeline at prehire.offrd.co. Two flows exist. Quick, for when you know the role and want to start screening in a minute. Detailed, for when the job description needs more shape. Either way, the job becomes the yardstick every resume is measured against.
Then you upload resumes. PDF or DOCX, up to 10MB per file. No retyping candidate details into a tracker, no spreadsheet with colour codes that only one person understands.
How does AI resume screening work on Pre-Hire?
Each resume is scored against the job on five parameters: Skills Match, Experience, Project Experience, Overall Fit, and Authenticity. That last one matters more than people expect. Inflated resumes are common, and a score that flags them early saves an interview slot.
For every candidate you get strengths, gaps, and concerns in plain language, plus a recommendation: Hire, Consider, or Suspicious. Candidates are ranked automatically. You can add your own manual rating on top, so the tally reflects both the model's read and yours.

Interview questions built from the resume, not a question bank
Pre-Hire generates two kinds of questions for each candidate. Tailored questions that probe what the resume claims. Gap based questions that test the spots where the resume falls short of the job. A founder interviewing between meetings walks in prepared without an hour of prep.
From shortlist to offer letter the same day
When you pick your candidate, Mark as Hired closes the loop. Then generate the offer letter in Offrd. Salary structure auto balances to the total CTC, and Indian statutory components such as EPF and ESI sit inside the calculation. Edit Content with AI is available inside the offer letter editor when the wording needs work. ₹99 per document, and the letter goes out the same day the decision is made.
Hiring against a deadline is where slow paperwork hurts most. A candidate with two offers rarely waits for a third draft.
What Offrd does not do in hiring
Some candor. Pre-Hire handles the pre hire stage only. It is not a full ATS. There are no career pages, no job board postings, no interview scheduling. If those are your primary need, a dedicated ATS is the right buy. Offrd wins when you want screening, ranking, and a fast, compliant offer without paying for a recruitment suite.
Who this stage is built for
The typical Offrd customer has 5 to 75 employees, sometimes up to 150, and hires around 1 to 5 people a quarter. There is rarely a recruiter on staff. The founder or the one HR person runs hiring alongside everything else, which is exactly when a screening pipeline and a fast offer engine matter most. If you run a full recruitment operation with dedicated recruiters, you are shopping in a different aisle.
What hiring costs without a system
The manual route has a price even when no software is bought. A consultant or CA drafting letters typically charges ₹500 to ₹2,000 per letter, with turnaround measured in days. Resumes pile up in an inbox and get skimmed unevenly, so the comparison between candidate four and candidate eleven is impressionistic at best. And every day between decision and offer letter is a day the candidate's other options mature.
Against that, ₹99 per offer letter and screening included with the platform is a brisk trade.
After the offer: hand off to onboarding
The hired candidate flows straight into the next stage. Documents get collected, the record gets built, and day one is ready before day one arrives. That stage has its own page: onboard employees.
